Registration Terms & Conditions

1. I agree that I will pay the fees associated with registering upon submission of the application.
2. I will either:
   1. pay the total balance in full
   2. choose 1 of the 3 payment options and pay a 25% deposit today to which a $10 administration fee will be added:
      1. I agree that the pre-authorized debit payment will take place on the 25^th of every month from September 25^th 2023 to March 25^th 2024 or
      2. I agree that credit card pre-authorization payments will take place on the 15^th of every month from Sept 15^th 2023 to March 15^th 2024 or
      3. I agree that postdated cheques will be given and dated the 1^st of every month from Sept 1^st 2023 to March 1^{St 2024}
3. A $45 NSF fee will be due if any form of payment is returned or unable to process.
4. I agree that if my account is not paid in full by March 25^th 2024, my dancer(s) will not be allowed to receive their showcase costume or purchase tickets to said showcase.
5. I understand there will be no refunds (including costumes fees) after December 1st, 2023.
6. I agree that if my account is not up to date by March 25, 2024 interest charges will apply. After a third attempt, a collection agency will be contacted.
7. I agree that the email address(es) I provided at registration is/are to be used for communication reasons. It is the recipients responsibility to make sure all communications are read - RDA is not responsible for emails going to SPAM or PROMOTIONS. Please check these folders BEFORE inquiring about a missed communication. Add us to your contacts/safe senders lists.
8. I agree to inform a studio director or office manager if my dancer(s) withdrawals from Rivertown Dance Academy via email or written letter.
9. I give consent that the name of my child, photos, and video footage taken during their participation at the Rivertown Dance Academy may be used for promotional advertising including use in newspaper articles and social media.
   1. If you do not agree to the above photo consent please indicate on the registration page under “photo consent.”
10. Should I have any complaints or concerns regarding Rivertown Dance Academy I will contact a studio director (Catherine Cristofaro, Laura Dufour) or the office manager.
11. The multi-class discounts apply to single students as well as siblings and parents. A minimum of one-quarter of the total amount owing must be paid to finalize registration and hold the spot in the class.
12. Only payments made by December 31st, 2023 will be reflected on your 2023 tax receipts from Rivertown Dance Academy Inc. Each receipt will be emailed to you and is considered legitimate for tax receipt purposes. Please keep them for your records.
13. We accept cash or cheque, e-transfers (hello@rda.dance), debit or credit cards. Please make all cheques payable to Rivertown Dance Academy. 
14. If you are taking adult classes or exam classes, there will be no costume fee applied.
15. All applicable discounts will be taken off of the base class prices, excluding HST charges.
16. All schedules filled out online by registrants are pending studio approval and will be confirmed by office staff via email.

Important when registering children and teens: Please keep in mind your dancer's grade level come September. For academy classes we have scheduled by grade level. You may view our most current schedule here (it will open in a new window so you can view and select classes at the same time).

We make every effort to keep updated schedules, but times are subject to change based on enrolment and instructor availability. We reserve the right to place dancers into the appropriate class based on their skill level. Cecchetti classes may require exams or further approval to finalize registration in those subject levels. Dancers finalized schedules will be emailed to upon registration finalization. All selected classes and times are pending upon submission of registration information.
